Week 13

Project 2 

• moving forward with the water and weight idea 
• purchased a load cell and amplifier 
• Ai affects on water usage and the environment 
• load cell cover will have GPT logo painted on
• solo cup that is painted will be used (idk what color but i wanted it to look like it came out of the trash)
• as more water is poured (used by AI) the worse the environment will get and that will be reflected in the visuals 
• 10 kg load cell and weight of all the elements together should be around 0.63388 kg so theres room for more weight if needed 
• 5 imaged 
• 0 oz = pretty nature 
• 0-4 oz = fog coming from AI factory 
• 4-8 oz = water pumping into factor 
• 8-12 oz = trees dying / being cut down
• 12-16 oz = dystopian waste land maybe

Update on project 2

• less about AI and more about water waste in general 
• bucket with spigot so water can be emptied
• bucket hidden in light wood/cardboard and altered to have dirty sewer vibes so its more open ended then just a drain over a bucket 
• i want the visuals to be more abstract with the vibe of nature so its less on the nose - more water wasted = darker colors and imagery
